BOZ QUALITY

Boz wetsuits are preferred by those who only settle for the best.

Made by and for athletes, with an understanding of the movement an athlete’s body requires, our wetsuits are specially designed to provide warmth with maximum comfort, mobility, and durability.

Here are some of the advantages of choosing a Boz wetsuit:

  • All Boz wetsuits are handcrafted using the finest materials imported from around the world. This blend provides the distinctive quality and durability of Boz.

  • The seams of our sealed wetsuits are triple glued with invisible seams that do not go through the material to prevent water seepage. In addition, the joints are taped by hand and cold, which differentiates us from the massive competition. Not only does this give your suit a long life, but it makes it much more thermal.

  • An athletic body is not made up of straight lines, why should a wetsuit be like that? Anatomically shaped with molded panels, our cuts allow for a better fit, shaping the body without restriction. In addition, the Boz are built with the minimum number of panels, with the aim of maximizing their flexibility and permeability.

  • Our materials are “fresh” and the wetsuits are manufactured on site. This has dual function: (1) it allows the panels to be cut and sewn in the most favorable direction of fabric stretch to achieve the way the athlete moves, not the way a wetsuit is hung on a rack or excessive material savings. (2) Since the material is fresh and has not had to be moved in confined spaces, the neoprene does not flatten or become damaged, thus maintaining its original thickness and warmth.

  • The craftsmanship not only influences the durability and quality of the suits, but also allows the customization component that distinguishes us. We offer a haute couture service for wetsuits, with options for made-to-measure models and a choice of neoprene colours, seams and logos.

  • We are the only suits on the market with a lifetime guarantee* on joints and seams for our high-end full suits (and 1 year on all other suits). We also offer exclusive repair services for our brand at a cost for any of our products.

*What does shelf life mean? Neoprene is a fabric with a lifetime, which due to its composition naturally wears out over time and use. Once it corrodes, hardens or thins excessively, it cannot be repaired, since the glue and the seams do not adhere to the material. As long as this does not happen, your wetsuit will continue to be guaranteed.

“Boz continues to be a family business. We want to maintain the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail that is only possible when everyone is involved in all areas of the business, and with our workers, customers and team riders. Some of our artisans have been with us for more than 20, 30 years”.

–Mila de Bouroncle, BOZ Manager

“It is more difficult and expensive to make wetsuits this way than in bulk, and manufacturing takes much longer, but our premise is to make the best wetsuit available today.”

–Ricardo Bouroncle, Manager and founder of BOZ
